Florida Fire Hose Testing
North Florida Hose Testing Services (DBA SAFETY FIRST) - Fire Equipment Inspection & Testing Company was started by 23 yr. veteran providing fire services in Florida, John H. Walker. John’s career started as a Firefighter at Marianna Fire Department. He successfully worked the ranks and held the position of Captain over Fire Prevention with Jackson County Fire Rescue. He was also employed by Chipola College as a Firefighter Basic instructor.
John earned an A.S Degree from Chipola College completing all course work and certification in fire fighting. Coursework and certification includes Fire Company Officer I, Fire Safety Inspector I, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Vehicle Technician (Aerial Fire Apparatus).
SAFETY FIRST provides services for Fire Departments in the areas of Fire Hose Management and Testing, Aerial/Ground Ladder Testing, and Apparatus Pump testing and service repair, which meets requirements of the National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA)
Our Technicians are qualified and competent Emergency Vehicle Technicians, ASNT-CP-189 Level II nondestructive testing inspectors trained in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical operations
